見込み中央には「百花の王」牡丹が染付でのびやかに描かれ、縁には連綿と続く蛸唐草文‼

「繁栄」「富貴」「永続」を象徴する組み合わせで、古伊万里らしい落ち着いた雰囲気を醸し出しています。

今回は象牙の獅子とともに撮影してみました。
牡丹と唐獅子の取り合わせは、古来より「獅子牡丹」と呼ばれる吉祥画題‼

魔除け・守護と富貴繁栄がひとつの画面に収まったような趣を感じていただければ嬉しいです。
