美しい萌葱色の伊万里焼小皿が入荷しました。

一目で目を奪われる萌葱色で、窓絵には番の鶉が秋草とともに描かれており、窓絵と丸文の周囲 を花唐草文で埋められています。

鶉文は秋の野を連想させる鳥で万葉集にも多く登場し、中国でも平安を意味する吉祥のシンボルとして好まれてきました。

これからおでんなどがおいしく感じる季節。
この器ならば、程よく高さもありますので、汁気の多いものも、彩りよくいただけますね。
